Looking for Your Help – Layout/Appearance Suggestions Wanted Before I Make Improvements
Hello All,
I am back from vacation and am energized and eager to move forward with improving my blog appearance along with surveying people on what they are interested in learning. Some areas of interest may include the following: wanting to earn extra money online, save thousands of dollars on purchasing a vehicle, getting organized, have a positive drive, setting up a financial budget and so on.
My First Request – Your comments and suggestions on how the blog should look regarding the layout is greatly appreciated. For example, how many navigation tabs should be on top and how should they be titled; what content and or categories should show on either the right or left sides of the posting ; should I have video content or should my twitter account be shown, etc…… Your feedback is greatly appreciated so that I can make the correct changes the first time.
If you have the energy to continue offering feedback, then please tell me what type of content you would be interested in receiving regularly or what type of help could benefit you. See some examples above. I will be coming back to this topic once I update and improve my blog site.
As I mentioned earlier, this blog and its content will evolve over time based on the feedback that I receive from others.

As far as categories and navigation tabs go, that will evolve as you add more content to your blog. At the moment I have just one category on my blog, entitled “blog” but that will change quite soon as I have a few posts behind me now.
There should be some video content on here (I still haven’t got around to mine yet) but I have also integrated Twitter, Audio Boo podcasts and of course my Aweber subscription form.
It’s still early days yet but you are on the right track!

Love the tagline.
I think you need to be concentrating more on adding value, and less about the “look” of the blog. It’s the content that will keep people coming back for more, not how good the layout is. The layout can evolve as you go along.
Add some tutorial videos, and write more articles, link to more quality content on other students blogs, comment on their posts, tell us how your doing etc etc
All these things are much more important. Good Luck

I love the tagline about you being the only “crooke” that gives more than he takes.
I agree that the header needs to be lightened up a bit so you have more contrast between the letters and the background color of the header, so that your catchy phrase just “pops”.
However, it’s really just a “tweak”, and the huge thing is that you got the blog up and going. Congrats on that, and keep it up!

What a great header, loving the colour and your slogan!!
Some people have probably said this and I am no expert, but here goes;
Get the content rolling, add videos, tips trick. It wouldn’t hurt to put in some banners with your affiliate link. You definitly need a form to build your e-mail list.
Ogh you probably want a “contact me” button on the top.

Richard, I love the tag line. The colors could be toned down and not so much shading. It is hard to read the black on the dark green. Opt in box to the right and what kind of value added services are you providing? Great start and congratulations for requesting feedback. You are a champion.
