Inspiration
Hello All,
I am sitting in my Homewood Suites hotel room while typing this post. My 11 year old is attending a Duke University basketball camp here Durham, NC. Wow, only if my kids knew how lucky they are for the opportunities that are given to them. I spent 12 hours on Friday driving up from South Florida to reach our destination. The whole family is here including my wife, two sons and daughter. I left the dog back home with friends for the week. My oldest is going to be a senor in high school during the fall, so we are visiting colleges as part of our trip. Double wow, my oldest is going to college in one year. I am stressing out on finding a way to fund the expenses. Luckily, he is very bright and is currently ranked 1st in his graduation class. Let’s hope for scholarship money!!!!!
Anyways, my post is titled “Inspiration”. We are experiencing challenging times that many people need some type of “Inspiration”. The stock market is declining again, the growth has shown signs of leveling off and the unemployment benefits are starting to end.
As a result, its more challenging then every to find “Inspiration”. While I am naturally a positive person, there are times that I happen to fall short and get into a slump. So when I get into these downer moments from time to time, I just think of things that make me happy and feel good. I starting thinking of things that I am grateful for such as: job, healthy family, house, food, car, family support, friends, opportunities etc…. Then when I want something, I attract the item through consistent thought and/or visualization.
As I start recognizing the things I am grateful for and becoming focused on what I want, I begin losing my stressful feeling and starting feeling better. So do what ever works for you during these challenging times.

Here is to your success…..

Hello Richard,
I agree a little inspiration goes along way in getting us focused on the positive items in our lives. Focus will always help too when we are trying to reach the goals that we have set. Thanks for the reminder!
Sure hope things work out for both the soon to be college student and basketball camp trek too!
Best Regards,
Alice
